Bob, nice looking coots. The inlet head is a nice touch. Looks hard to do.

Matt, nice looking coot also. I like the look of the paint on the body.

Eric, that's out of hand! You must be talking with Mr. George to have that many decoys going at once.... Look forward to seeing them as you finish them.

That looks like a mbootyive project. Close to a lifetimes worth of painting in one big pile. Can't wait to see some finished birds.

This is a mbootyive undertaking I took on back in the winter of 2016. Due to budget and time constraints, it has been a slow process, but I've ramped it up some the last couple of weeks because of the acquisition of 10 different body molds. Between the winter of 2016 and 2017, I carved 189 heads of many different species. Some, like gadwalls, wigeon, ruddies, spoonbills I'm only doing a handful of each, but some, like coots, ringbills, goldeneyes, I'm doing a bunch. Below is the progress so far.

I have always enjoyed WorkingDecoys.Net, past and present, wish you well and success. I have no use for facebook, etc. , and this is as high tech as I get (with my wife's help). A Geezer I am...

Good folks here, spreading the word and keeping decoy making/carving alive and well. Many are unselfish in sharing knowledge and experience.

I tip my hat to the new ownership and the future of WorkingDecoys.Net.
