FYI - For all those that love Old Decoys and the Ward Bros.

Check out the Frank & Frank website, auction preview for their next auction.

The 1936 Ward Bros. drake Ruddy (taken off a old lamp) may well be one of their best.

Tail down and simply Amazing carving & paint.

Wow, someone will need deep pockets for that decoy! Some pretty outstanding hooded mergansers on there also.

I had a hard time making it past the mergansers and all the way down to the ruddy.

I think a pair of hooded's is going to have to make its way onto my bucket list for next seasons carving.

Did you see the Ward Bros. 1936, drake and hen Hooded Mergansers that G&D sold last year? Just Awesome and went for big $$$$$$$.

Ya got to have Hooded's in your rig. They do double duty in marsh and open water hunting. If ya tie flies the drake feathers are very good, other then that I let em pbooty.
