Just testing the water.  Anyone interested in doing a WD.Net traveling decoy this fall?  For anyone who doesn't know, a traveling decoy goes all over the country to hunt.  Whoever, gets him takes pictures and fills out a log book with what took place, signs and dates the bottom of the decoy then ships it to the next person.  Of course they are expected to post the activities here also.

I'll have to figure out some kind of "contest" to see who gets to keep the decoy when the season is over.  [Open to ideas here]
I'm not a great carver but I play one on the internet.  :)

I'm in.  I'll "volunteer" one of my new decoys (Bluebill or Canvasback).  You can give it to whoever wants it at the end of the season.

Sounds like fun.  From past experience, would be good idea to post up rules and what is expected of people.  If you might not be abe to adhere to the rules, don't sign up.  I ran a travelling decoy in my homestate last year, lets just say it was definitely a learning experience.  Count me in.

Sounds like fun to me. Maybe it would insure that you and I would hunt together this year Scott while the decoy is in North Alabama. Shawn

Can we do a traveling person instead? I will volunteer, all you have to do is pay for my "shipping" around the country. ;D

I would be in on this :D

I would definitely be in. I have two travelers on other sites getting ready for takeoff. I am just around the corner...from Aaron and we could go back to back to minimize shipping down time and costs. As a matter of fact I think Aaron wants to hunt a few of my private spots this year anyway...
