plastic decoys

While hunting this past week I found an old plastic mallard decoy. It has a weighted keel and on it has Animal Trap Decoy Co. It is really beat up so I was going to give it fresh paint. I am not thinking plastic decoys are worth anything but I am trying to make sure before I give it fresh paint. As far as age I am putting it around the 50's?

Pete, I really don't know but I would assume you are correct. Check ebay to see if any are for sale there and you may want to post this in the Lodge Board as post down here seem to get missed a bunch.

Just found this thread. Could it be one of the old Victor decoys Pete. I don't know much about them other than I use to hunt with a guy in LA that always talked about the old Victor D-8's.

Yup that is exactly what it is. It is a mallard hen.
